Over 30 Leaders Endorse!

Today, over 30 leaders – from State Legislators to local elected officials to community activists – came out in support of our campaign. I’m humbled by the tremendous outpouring of support I’ve received to date in this campaign. Our community is rich with leaders who work hard at improving our quality of life; it’s truly an honor that these leaders have declared their support for me.

I’m flattered by the words of Tumwater Mayor Pete Kmet, who said, “Chris is dedicated to public service and will work hard for his constituents. His work on the Tumwater Planning Commission and the Tumwater School Board, while holding a full time state job, is proof he’s willing to put in the long hours to make sure our interests will be represented. Chris comprehends issues quickly and shares my vision for a stronger community. He will be a representative that makes us proud to have supported him.”

I’m equally humbled by Olympia School Board President Frank Wilson’s belief that I, “...will work hard for better school funding, and our community will be well served with him in the Legislature.” Former Thurston County State Committeewoman Karen Bowen has also endorsed me after having met each of the candidates in this race. She said that, “Chris is the outstanding choice to be our next Representative. Chris speaks with conviction and passion from the heart. He has great experience in the legislative environment, and our community will be so well served by his leadership in the House.”

Long ago I committed my life to public service, as a state employee, school board member, and volunteer. I will work hard to earn the respect and the vote of the people of our district.
